More than 67 villages along the Yamuna River in Noida have faced flooding due to rising water levels. The water level of Hinton river has also affected several villages in Noida. More than 3,600 people have been displaced and about 1,390 hectares of agricultural land has been inundated. Many farmhouses in and around Sector 135 were flooded. Around 7,210 people have been affected by the floods, according to Gautam Buddha Nagar district administration officials. 4 teams of NDRF, 2 teams of SDRF, a PAC team, 8 medical teams and Noida Police personnel have been deployed in the rescue operation.
