Attacking the Delhi government for blaming other states for Delhi’s flood situation, Union Minister of State Meenakashi wrote on July 16, “People should not make false statements and Delhi’s PWD minister is not Atishi in this case. To tell the truth. In fact around 3.59 lakh cusecs of water has been released this period as compared to the earlier releases…there has been no meeting with the flood control department in the last two years…meetings are the status…” Meenakshi Lekhi further said, “… The District Magistrate (DM) who is supposed to be the coordinator of the meeting, has written to CM Kejriwal to attend the meeting. The CM did not attend the meeting on which the dates were decided saying that he was busy campaigning in Rajasthan instead of looking after the flood situation in Delhi…They Experts in the blame game…”.
