Chandrayaan 3 will land on the moon on August 23, Union Minister Jitendra Singh told ANI. He further informed ANI that tomorrow Chandrayaan 3 will be orbited while orbiting the Earth and soon it will enter the orbit of the Moon. He said, “Tomorrow, it will go into orbit while orbiting the Earth. Soon it will enter the moon’s orbit. Then, it will identify where to land in the South Pole region. Its landing is set for August 23.” On July 14, the world witnessed the historic lift-off of Chandrayaan-3. ISRO launched India’s third lunar exploration mission from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh told ANI that ‘Chandrayaan 3’ will land on the moon in August. The Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft continues its circuitous journey to the Moon with successive burns to raise its orbit. Earlier on July 20, ISRO announced that the spacecraft had successfully completed its fourth orbit-raising maneuver. The next firing is planned for July 25, 2023 between 2 pm and 3 pm, ISRO said.
