Visionary director Christopher Nolan has once again proved his mastery of storytelling with his recently released biopic.Oppenheimer‘ has been garnering highly positive reviews from all over. With the film doing well at the worldwide box office, Indian audiences started complaining about the film’s censoring of important explicit sequences.
The director of ‘Mukundan Unni Associates’ was speaking exclusively to Itims about the same Abhinav Sundar Nayak“I cannot come to a conclusion as to whether the censorship of explicit sequences in the film has hampered my experience as I have yet to watch the full version.
From what I’ve seen of the censored version of ‘Oppenheimer’, Christopher thinksNolan J wanted to investigate further the fact that Robert Oppenheimer A womanizer, the film’s emphasis on character study would have worked well to include those obvious sequences.
Abhinav said, “From what I’ve seen, I think Nolan has written the story of the film highlighting Robert Oppenheimer’s sex life, and it should be seen from a psychological perspective as well. If those important sequences are left out of the film, then how do you feel what the director intended to say? I can’t point out everything I missed from that character’s life journey.
On the other hand, ‘Oppenheimer’ is taking a huge leap at the Kerala box office as the film collected Rs 3.90 crore in three days.
