North East United FC are delighted to announce the signing of Nestor Albiach, also known as El Linz, for the 2023-24 season. The Spanish forward becomes the third new overseas recruit and seventh new signing for the Highlanders.
Nestor’s football journey started at the age of six with Levante. He also featured in the UEFA Europa League with 13-time Czech First League champions Sparta Prague.
After returning to Spain in 2019, he featured for clubs such as Badalona and Numancia over the next two and a half seasons. In 2021, he moved to Rayo Majadahonda, becoming a key figure in their attack and amassing over 70 appearances for the club.
