Reaffirming its commitment and dedication to making the user experience better, WhatsApp has rolled out a “much-anticipated” feature on the app.
The latest feature The instant messaging platform has a new image editing tool that has been released for the desktop version of the app, WABetainfo Informed.
An article published on the website says the recently released feature is a “crop tool” for the drawing editor that allows users to clip images as needed.
“This addition is highly anticipated as previous versions lacked this functionality. With this update, WhatsApp “Beta users on Windows can now enjoy the ability to crop their images right within the app, making it easier for users to edit media,” it said.
The “Crop Tool” is also a time saver for users who have to crop images using external image editing tools before rendering and sending them through the desktop version.
The built-in crop tool allows users to easily crop their images without leaving the WhatsApp interface.
However, not all users can currently take advantage of the new feature as it was initially released to some beta testers. It will be available to more users soon.
