The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed a case of the potentially fatal Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) in Abu Dhabi on Monday night. According to the UN body, a 28-year-old man admitted to a hospital in the city of Al Ain last month tested positive for the virus.
