A line from Saugatuck to Ann Arbor has a slight risk (Level 2) of severe weather in the south, and a line from Ludington to Bad Axe has a marginal risk (Level 1) in the south. The Storm Prediction Center says: “Scattered severe thunderstorms are possible east of the central Mississippi Valley. Southern Great Lakes Wednesday and Wednesday evening.”
“A mid-level shortwave trough is forecast to move east-southeast over the mid-upper MS Valley. Southern Great Lakes During the period. Moist/destabilizing air masses have dew points near 70 degrees F inches Southern Lower MI.“
