Pawan Kalyan asks Tamil artistes to change their mindset

Pawan Kalyan asks Tamil artistes to change their mindset

Yesterday, the Tamil movie artistes’ association, Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) gave an ultimatum to the Tamil industry producers to employ only Tamil artistes in Tamil films henceforth. This sparked a wide debate because when Tamil actors are featured in almost all the major tinsel cities of India, how can they pass such a resolution in the name of the welfare of Kollywood? But till Pawan Kalyan came to the cinema, no one has commented on this.

Speaking at the pre-release event of the movie ‘Bro’, Pawan Kalyan said that Tamil artistes should come out of this narrow thought process and think beyond the boundaries. “Bro movie is directed by Tamilian Samutrikani, cinematography by Malayalee Sujith Vasudevan and North Indian girl Urvashi Rautela, costumes designed by Pakistani Neeta Lulla. “Great films can only be made if people from all regions come together”, Pawan Kalyan asked Tamil artistes to rethink their decision.

“Don’t get into that narrow thinking; Blur the boundaries and make great movies like RRR. AM Ratnam is the Telugu guy who took your industry to new heights by producing films like Roja and Gentleman for you,” he added. “An artist should not have caste, creed or creed and should think beyond that”, Pawan Kalyan said in the concluding note. Well, this is a bold move by Pawan Kalyan, surely his words may hurt a lot of FEFSI members.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan congratulated Samudharkani for learning to read Telugu to direct BRO and promised to learn to read Tamil and deliver speeches in Tamil Nadu soon.
