By default nothing is connected to the internet & access is through “zero trust” networks. Even incoming external e-mail for employees is available only where needed. All internet facing systems have Zerodha, Botnet & DDoS protection in front. Real-time monitoring and analysis systems.

Also, the entire staff, including non-technical people, uses Linux desktops to reduce the attack surface. Kamath said he is using Zorin (Linux). He said he’s nervous about external vendors and SaaS services. “We self-host all our internal systems on private networks, almost no SAAS vendors. Everything is self-hosted FOSS (Free & Open Source),” Kamath wrote on Twitter.
