The Chicago area is experiencing severe weather for the third day in a row

The Chicago area is rated a 2 on a scale of 1-5 for risk of severe weather Friday.


Showers will move away for a while on Friday, followed by midday sun and humidity.

The sun will fuel the atmosphere of instability as storms return this afternoon around 4 p.m

The first round of severe weather will last from 4 pm to 9 pm

The second stage cyclone is expected to move over the region by 11 pm
