The mode seamlessly adjusts a person’s voice control experience amid ever-changing environments and interactions.

Personalized volume

This feature aims to improve the personal audio experience. To this end, it uses machine learning to understand environmental conditions and listening preferences to optimize the media experience.

Conversational awareness

When wearing AirPods (2nd generation), people can start talking. This ability will lower the music volume, increasing the volume in front of the user, while at the same time, reducing background noise.

Additional skills

With updates to automatic switching, connection times between Apple devices are ‘significantly faster and more reliable.’ So, you can more easily move from listening on one device to another.

Finally, Mute or Unmute allows unmuting during calls. It is available for AirPods Pro (1st and 2nd generations), AirPods (3rd generations) and AirPods Max.
