Vaani is currently working on two completely different projects: ‘Sarvaguna Bimsha’ and ‘Mandala Murders’.

MUMBAI- Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor will now be seen in two different projects ‘Sarvagun Bimashka’ and OTT show ‘Mandala Murders’.

She says it gives her room to experiment with very “different genres of fun”.

Says Vani, “I have two back-to-back acting parts that I headline – Sarvagun Sampath and Mandala Murders. My endeavor in films is always to differentiate the performances. These two projects give me room to experiment with two different genres of fun.

She adds, “Ultimately it’s a leap, one is a thriller that leaves room for action and the other is a complete light drama / life movie in a short time frame. I am very excited and hope these images will be released soon.

“Thankful to work with good talent behind the camera who help me find the perfect foundation for my performance.”

Tamannaah Bhatia expresses her gratitude to her alma mater while visiting her college

NEW DELHI- Pan-Indian star Tamannaah Bhatia visited her college and thanked her teacher for shaping her into the person she is today and giving her a strong foundation in her pursuit of acting.

The actress, who was last seen in the web series ‘Jee Karda’, resonated with the youth and decided to celebrate it at her alma mater RD National College in Mumbai.

She dazzled the faculty and students by dancing to the beats of the dhol.

She fondly reminisced about her college days and shared stories from her days as a student, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere.

The actress took the opportunity to interact with the students and give them encouragement and advice to follow their dreams.

Acknowledging the overwhelming response ‘Jee Karda’ has received back at her college, Tamannaah said, ‘I am thrilled and delighted to witness the love and appreciation that ‘Jee Karda’ has received. Performing Lavanya is so much fun and I love celebrating this moment with students and teachers in my college.

It makes me very happy that ‘Jee Karda’ became an instant fan favorite and still continues to shine. It has been an incredible journey and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been a part of this wonderful experience,” she added.

The show tells the story of seven childhood friends who realize that life at 30 is nothing like they imagined.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Madoc Films and directed by Arunima Sharma, it is written by Hussain Dalal, Arunima Sharma and Abbas Dalal.

Tamannaah, Ashim Gulati, Suhail Nayyar, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee and Samvedna Suvalka are playing the lead roles.

Sunny Deol reveals how the iconic ‘hand pump scene’ came to life in ‘Gadari’

New Delhi- Actor Sunny Deol, who is gearing up for the release of ‘Gadar 2’, has opened up about his emotions while shooting the best ‘hand pump’ scene in the first part of the film.

Sunny and co-star Ameesha Patel will be seen promoting the comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, the upcoming sequel to the 2001 romantic period action drama ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’.

One of the most iconic scenes in Bollywood is the ‘handpump scene’ in the first edition of ‘Gadhaari’, where Sunny rips out a hand pump in anger during an encounter with Amrish Puri.

Throwing some light on the emotions he felt while bringing the scene to life, Sunny shared, “It’s not about a person pulling out a hand pump; It is about an emotional journey where a man finds strength in the love and support of his family.

“When a person is emotionally trapped and his family is surrounded on all sides, he will take such a step to save his children and wife from a difficult situation. In those moments, Waheguru’s divine essence resides within us and directs our actions. That’s how the scene made it into the film and became an all-time audience favorite,” said the veteran actor.

Alia Bhatt joins Aditya Chopra’s YRF spy universe to don new action avatar

MUMBAI- Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is joining filmmaker Aditya Chopra’s YRF Spy Universe, who brought films like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’ and ‘Pathan’.

He is currently planning a new big-budget action thriller with superstar Alia Bhatt, where she will play a spy. Yash Raj Films’ yet-to-be-titled tentpole film will hit theaters in 2024.

A source said: Alia is one of the biggest superstars in our country today and she will play a super agent in the YRF spy universe like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

“It’s another epic action spectacle that will keep people on the edge of their seats. Taking on a mission that will push Alia to the edge, this gritty action film will further expand the YRF spy universe.

The source added that Alia will appear in a new avatar.

“The yet-to-be-titled film features Alia in a new, never-before-seen way. Her inclusion in the YRF Spy universe indicates that Aditya Chopra is not leaving any audience out of the equation for this franchise. Alia is the biggest superstar among the youth and India’s Gen Z, Alia is one of the most adorable actresses of our generation.

“Her role as a spy in an all-round adrenaline pumping entertainer is a huge novelty for all the audience deviations she attracts,” adds the source.

“Alia is as big as the biggest heroes of our time and her headlining a YRF spy universe film reinforces this notion immensely.”
