US-based private space company SpaceX launched 54 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Base in Florida on Sunday with its Falcon 9 rocket.
This was the 16th flight for the first stage booster in support of this mission.
After stage separation, Falcon 9 arrived in the Atlantic Ocean on Gravitas’ A shortfall droneship.
According to SpaceX, Starlink will deliver high-speed Internet to places where access is unreliable, expensive or completely unavailable.
