India broke the world record of being the fastest team to score 100 runs in Test cricket history. In the second innings of the second and final Test of the series against the West Indies in Trinidad, India broke the world record by scoring 100 runs in 12.2 overs.
Rohit Sharma scored 57 runs off 44 balls. On the other hand, his new opening partner Yashaswi Jaiswal scored 38 off 30 balls.
Earlier, Mohammad Siraj’s five-wicket haul reduced West Indies to 255 runs. India scored 438 runs and took a lead of 183 runs.
Virat Kohli scored the 29th century of his Test career. Rohit Sharma, Yashaswi Jaiswal, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran completed half-centuries.
