The film had a kiss scene between Kashmera and Bijay and in a recent interview, the actress recalled the entire experience. 25 years ago, kissing on screen was a big deal, but she agreed because the script asked for it, Kashmira told Hindustan Times. The problem is that co-star Bijay doesn’t live up to his mark. He had to stay on the right mark because the angle was so important, but he didn’t get it right, so the kiss scene required several takes. Ajay and Kajol, who were part of the shot, got very upset when they saw this. That’s when Devgan kicked it and stood up for Kashmir. Ajay tells Beeja that he can’t make a girl do this scene again and again, so why doesn’t he stick to his mark?
Kashmir says that’s a very nice gesture from Ajayan! However, Kashmera makes up for it and gives it back in another scene where Bija has to beat him.
