But most producers wanted me to sign a hero named by them. Only then can we do sahi re sahi. It was in 2010/11 that I came to know about Hindi cinema with star value. I am happy to work comfortably in Marathi films. I am ready to do Hindi films. I feel producers know my work and through my work I will get an opportunity to work in Hindi films,” he says.

Asked why Hindi films are not doing well now, he said, “Films succeed when Hindi producers fully agree to put the reins in our hands. It’s a matter of manufacturers wanting us to work according to their terms and conditions. I have produced and directed this film. There has been no interaction from Jio.
