The last song of late singer KK’s Malayalam film ‘Samara’ is out

It’s been over a year since we lost Bollywood playback singer Krishnakumar Kunath popularly known as KK. And yet, the gentle voice of genius still amazes us.

Adding to the list of KK hits is the last track sung by the Malayalee singer for the Malayalam movie ‘Samara’ starring Rahman. The beautiful melody ‘Dilbaro’ composed by Deepak Warrier has gained massive acceptance on social media within minutes of its release.

Lyrics of Hindi song penned by Yusuf Baig and Sarath R Nath are sung by KK along with Lakshmi Mohan. Both of them have also lent their voice for the Tamil version of the song.

Directed by debutant Charles Joseph, ‘Samara’ is a crime-thriller set primarily in Kullu-Manali and Jammu & Kashmir. The film will hit the theaters on August 4.

Singer-composer KK passed away on 31 May 2022 at the age of 53 due to a heart attack. He fell ill during a concert in Kolkata and died before reaching the hospital.
