Environment Canada is calling for an especially wet weekend across Metro Vancouver.
From Friday, July 14, the federal forecaster expects sunny temperatures of 24°C along the coast and 29°C inland throughout the day. Due to humidity, these temperatures will feel like 28 C and 32 C respectively.
Saturday is expected to be warmer, with 25 C and 30 C along the coast; These temperatures will be between 30 C and 35 C with high humidity. Sunday’s forecast includes a high of 26C along the coast, with a 60 per cent chance of rain overnight. The wet weather could continue into Monday, with a 60 percent chance of rain during the day.
Monday night is expected to be clear, and Tuesday’s forecast includes bright sunshine and highs of 23C on the coast and 26C inland. A mix of sun and cloud is expected on Wednesday, although temperatures will be slightly warmer with highs of 24 C on the coast and 29 C inland.
Expect lows in the mid-teens throughout the week.
