London Weather Report for Day 1 of India vs Australia Test

London Weather Report for Day 1 of India vs Australia Test

India will take on Australia in the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final. Kennington Oval will host the crucial match starting on Wednesday, June 7.

There is no chance of rain on the first day of the match, much to the delight of the fans. Fans can expect a timely start with 90 overs of action.

It is worth noting that the last WTC final between India and New Zealand in Southampton a few years back was heavily affected by rain. India’s strategy of fielding two spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin in overcast conditions backfired. Led by Virat Kohli, they succumbed to an eight-wicket defeat against the Blackcaps.

Rohit Sharma and co will look to avoid making the same mistakes when they come up against the mighty Aussies. Although India will miss some key players in Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant, they will back themselves to go all the way this time.

On the other hand, the Aussie will miss the services of star fast bowler Josh Hazelwood due to injury. It is suggested that Scott Bolland will replace the New South Wales pacer.
