The Supreme Court on Monday directed the Delhi government to pay Rs 415 crore within two months for the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project.
A bench of Justices SK Kaul and Sudhanshu Dhulia noted that the AAP government had spent Rs 1,100 crore on advertisements in the last three years.
The Delhi government had expressed its inability to fund the general scheme after which the apex court ordered the record funds spent on advertising in the last three years.
