Squid (Pokemon Word) Answers and Hints for July 25, 2023

Squid (Pokemon Word) Answers and Hints for July 25, 2023

Squiddle can be a fun way to pass the time for Pokemon fans who love a good guess game. It mixes up Wordle’s deduction, but instead of determining a specific word, fans are tasked with uncovering the identity of a specific pocket monster. Also, it has a free mode and a daily challenge.

For the daily challenge, Pokemon fans will have eight guesses every 24 hours to determine which mystery creature is chosen for the day. On July 25, just like any other day, participants have to use the clues provided after each guess to reach a final conclusion about the daily solution.

But what is Squirdle’s Pokemon of the Day on July 25th, 2023? Fans may want to look to the original generation of Pocket Monsters for the answer.

July 25th Squirtle Daily Pokemon Answer: Magnemite

Also known as Magnet Pokemon, Magnemite Pocket Monsters debuted in the first generation of games when the original Red and Green versions were released in Japan. This electric/steel-type creature has powers over gravity and magnetism, giving it the ability to float in mid-air.

Actually, Magnemite can only evolve into Magneton when it reaches level 30. However, in Generation IV, Magneton gained the ability to evolve into Magnezon when in a magnetic field or struck by lightning. Regardless, Pocket Monster has come a long way from the original two Pokemon titles.

Strangely, although Magnemite has the ability to float in mid-air, it does not have access to the levitate ability. This means that the creature can still be affected by Earth-type movements. However, it eventually gains the move Magnet Rise, which will keep it safe from Ground-type attacks for five turns in battle.

In the Johto region, magnemite is known to float around the Moomoo farm, pointing to a partial inspiration for the creature associated with the concept of UFOs and aliens. This was cemented when Magnuson arrived in Generation IV, as he was very clearly inspired by the traditional concept of “flying saucers” in classic sci-fi media.

Squidle Daily Pokemon hints at July 25th

If fans don’t want to use the answer in the Squirtle Daily Challenge, they can use the in-game hints provided after each guess to determine the answer.

Squirrel tracks a creature’s actual generation and elemental type(s) along with its average height and weight. Using this information, players can determine the identity of the July 25th mystery pocket monster by narrowing down their guesses based on the following parameters:

  • This item is from generation I
  • This creature is an Electric/Steel type
  • It has a height of 0.3 m
  • It weighs six kilograms

Regardless of how Squiddle players arrive at the final answer, they want to do so in less than eight guesses. Otherwise, they lose their chance to win on July 25 and their daily streak resets.
