Triumph Speed 400 on road price is highest in Karnataka and lowest in Delhi. There is a difference of about 40,000 rupees between them!
The Triumph Speed 400 received a bumper response when it was announced at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.33 lakh. Everyone was stunned by what was being offered at that monstrous price tag, however, the excitement died down when someone shared an anonymous price sheet on the internet that revealed the roadster’s on-road price to be around Rs 3.40 lakh!
Triumph quashed the rumours, promising to reveal prices soon. Reveal, it has! Here are the on-road prices of Speed 400 in various cities in India.

The prices mentioned above include road tax applicable in various states (each state imposes its own percentage), registration charges and insurance. For some reason, Triumph has added Rs 1500 for handling charges to the overall price of the motorcycle.
This excludes roadside assistance, miscellaneous accessories and any other insurance add-on. All of these are optional.
So, as you can see, Delhiites are the luckiest as they pay the lowest for the same ex-showroom price of Rs 2.33 lakh, while Karnatakas, by far, have to pay the highest in the country – charging an insane amount. Road tax! In exact numbers, Karnataka bikers pay around Rs 38,000 more than Delhi bikers – for exactly the same bike!
