New Delhi:
After weeks of irony, the Congress on Sunday came out in support of the Aam Aadmi Party’s campaign against the controversial central order that handed back control to Delhi’s bureaucracy, raising the prospect of an opposition meeting held a day later.
“I think they (AAP) are going to attend the meeting tomorrow. Our stand on the ordinance (on regulation of services in Delhi) is very clear. We are not going to support it,” Congress general secretary KC Venugopal told News. Agency PTI, AAP said they will not attend any such meeting unless the Congress backs its stand on the Delhi Ordinance.
