News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Jake Dollinger says there will be isolated storms across Long Island through Sunday.
NEW: A flood watch is in effect starting at midnight tonight. 1 to 2 inches of rain Sunday in parts of the island.
Now: A nice rest for our Saturday with mild temperatures. Very dull overnight ahead of the storm.
Next: The morning will be wet. There will be some clearing in the afternoon before a final shower in the evening. An isolated strong storm cannot be ruled out. Flooding is possible in western Nassau County.

Overnight: Continues very mild and humid. The storm arrives too late. Chance of thunder and heavy rain. Lows in the mid-70s.

Sunday: Stormy in the morning, isolated throughout the day. A flood watch is in place until 12pm on Monday. The high temperature is around 80 degrees.

Monday: Hot and humid with mostly sunny skies. High 80’s feel, mid 90’s. Lows near 70 overnight.
Tuesday: Hot and humid. A few storms in the afternoon. Highs in the high-80s, lows in the low-70s.
Wednesday: Sun and clouds. High in the mid 80’s. Lows are around 70.
Thursday: Sunny with isolated storms in the afternoon. High in the mid 80’s.
