Mumbai: Hema Malini, the real dream girl of the Hindi film industry, has given us some of the highest grossing films like Sholay, Seetha Aur Geeta, Sathe Pe Satta, Baghbaan. Her talent and beauty are unmatched and there was a time when almost every leading actor of her time wanted to marry her but eventually she said yes to Dharmendra as they fell in love.
Hema worked with leading directors of her time. She used to stick her saree pallu on the blouse. She once revealed how a famous director asked her to unpin her saree because he wanted to shoot “certain scenes”. A worried Hema tells him, “‘Sari niche gir jayegi’. That’s what we want,” she said.
Hema also revealed that filmmakers these days don’t bother or take the time to make their actresses attractive. She said that she is no longer interested in acting in films. She also said that Rak Kapoor had offered her Satyam Shivam Sundaram, “He said this is such a film, you won’t do it, but I want you to do it”. He did not take up the film as his mother was against it.
Hema Malini was recently in the news after her old video went viral where she talked about Dharmendra’s old school thinking and her children Isha and Ahana not liking to wear shorts or jeans.
Hema Malini was last seen in Shimla Mirchi in 2017 starring Rajkumar Rao and Rakul Preet Singh.
